The Maryland drug dealer who authorities said sold the fentanyl dose that killed a minor will avoid a lifetime in prison. Silver Spring's Mikiyas Maryie Kefyalew, also known as “Mick,” 24, was charged with the distribution of fentanyl that resulted in the death of teen Landen Hausman, of Bethesda, US Attorney Erek Barron announced. A Maryland drug dealer faces life in prison for selling the fentanyl that killed a minor who overdosed on a counterfeit “Percocet” pill, federal officials announced. A loving father was trying to take in some Fourth of July fireworks over the holiday weekend when he was struck and killed by a stray bullet, according to his family. Cambridge resident Tyuane Johnson, Jr., 24, was an innocent bystander watching fireworks on Monday, July 4, when he got caught in the crossfire and was fatally hit by a bullet. A fatal Fourth of July homicide remains under investigation by state police after a 24-year-old man was fatally shot in Dorchester County, authorities said on Thursday, July 7. Cambridge resident Tyuane Johnson, Jr. was pronounced dead at the Dorchester General Hospital on Monday, July 4 after he was found with a gunshot wound by members of the Maryland State Police Department.
