Maryland Transit Administration Offering Free Rides On Election Day
The Maryland Department of Transportation Maryland Transit Administration is encouraging voters to "roll to the polls" with free rides on Election Day. For the first time in state history, the MTA will be offering free transit on its core services - bus, Metro subway, Light Rail, and Mobility - on Tuesday, Nov. 5 in an "effort to eliminate transportation barriers that may prevent voters from getting to the polls."
