Two Maryland Men Busted Trafficking Thousands Of Fentanyl Pills, Feds Say
Two men from Maryland are facing federal charges after they were allegedly busted selling thousands of fentanyl pills in Connecticut.
Prince George's County residents Oscar Flores, 34, of Mount Rainier, and Severo Alelar, 25, of Hyattsville, were indicted by a federal grand jury in Hartford, Connecticut on Thursday, Sept. 22, for fentanyl trafficking.
The indictment came just weeks after the pair was arrested on Thursday, Sept. 8 following a sting operation in Wethersfield, the US Attorney’s Office in Connecticut said.

A Virginia teen is dead after a double fatal shooting inside of a Hyattsville home during a suspected burglary, authorities say.
Damani Sanders, 19, was found dead inside of the home after police responded to a report of a burglary in the 5600 block of 30th Avenue around 12:20 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 20, according to Prince George's County Police.
