A 10-year-old child was bitten by a shark while visiting the Bahamas with his family, authorities announced. The Royal Bahamas Police Department issued an alert on Monday advising that the boy was bitten at around 4 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 15 during an expedition. Male child reportedly bitten by shark. A Hurricane Watch has been issued along Florida's East Coast as newly named subtropical storm Nicole makes its way toward the East Coast. A springlike stretch of weather will finally come to an end as a cold front moves through the region followed by potential impacts from a storm system developing in the Atlantic.
