An Anne Arundel Judge has ruled that a 26-year-old man spend life in prison for the grisly murder of his mother in their Tracy's Landing home in 2021, authorities announced. Andrew Beavers was sentenced to life in prison for the first-degree murder of his mother, cybersecurity executive Juanita Naomi Koilpillai, 58, whose body was found poorly outside of their home after being reported missing. A Virginia man has been sentenced to 36 years in prison after he was convicted of sexually abusing a child of a family friend for two years, authorities say.
