ATV Rider Airlifted To Hospital In Maryland After Crashing Into Creek

An ATV rider had to be airlifted to an area hospital in Maryland after crashing in Cecil County.

In Rising Sun, a driver reportedly overturned his ATV while riding in the area of 400 Slicers Mill Road at approximately 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 5 after taking a trip over an embankment.

First responders requested a police helicopter to the scene to transport the rider - whose name has not been released - to an undisclosed hospital, officials said. The ATV was reportedly located in a nearby creek.

No other information was immediately released by investigators.
