New details have been released by Maryland State Police investigators after two people were killed in a crash involving a pick-up and mobile crane that shut down I-83 on Wednesday in Baltimore County. Two people were killed in a crash involving a pick-up truck and mobile crane that shut down in Baltimore County on Wednesday afternoon. Shortly after 2 p.m. on Oct. 23, Maryland State Police troopers were called to the northbound lanes of the interstate in Sparks Glencoe when the pick-up hauling a trailer was traveling southbound on I-83 when for unknown reasons, lost control, crossed over into the northbound lanes, and struck a mobile crane. "Toxic mushrooms" sent 11 Amish family members – including a 1-year-old – to a hospital on Friday night, Oct. 11, officials say. First responders were called to the home in the 200 block of Burke Road in Peach Bottom Township around 9:37 p.m. when a family member went to a payphone a half-mile away and called 911, Delta-Cardiff Volunteer Fire Company Lieutenant Gregory Fantom explained to the press.
