Pedestrian Killed By Hit-Run Driver In Montgomery County, Police Say One person was killed and a driver is at large following an early-morning crash involving a pedestrian in Montgomery County on Monday, according to police. An investigation was launched after a pedestrian was fatally struck shortly after 1:15 a.m. on June 3 in the 1000 block of University Boulevard in Takoma Park, investigators say. The driver then fled the scene and has not been located. It is now being investigated by the Montgomery County Police Collision Reconstruction Unit. Head-On Hit-Run Driver Who Fled Maryland Crash On Foot Arrested, Sheriff Says It didn't take long for members of the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office to track down a hit-and-run driver who took off on foot in Lexington Park over the weekend. Patrick Shawn Daly, 35, was taken into custody following a head-on crash on Saturday, where witnesses reported one driver fled in the 21000 block of Great Mills Road.  According to the sheriffs office, responding deputies determined that Daly was at-fault for the crash, and had left the scene before they arrived.  Passersby were able to provide them with a description of the driver, and he was located later on May 18…
