The man who brutally abused an infant who later died in Frederick County will never see the light of day again after being convicted of child abuse last year, the state's attorney's office announced. Jesse Cook, 45, was convicted by a jury in September 2023 on multiple offenses after the Frederick native was found complicit in the death of a child in 2020 who was found with grave injuries.
