An investigation has been launched following a triple fatal crash involving a senior-living assisted living facility bus and dump truck in Charles County, state police say. Shortly before 8 a.m. on Friday morning, police say the bus was heading west on Port Tobacco Road in Nanjemoy, when for unknown reasons, the driver lost control and struck the dump truck, which was heading east, head-on. A pedestrian was killed in a crash involving a dump truck in Charles County on Wednesday afternoon. Members of the sheriff's office responded to a stretch of Middletown Road before 5 p.m. on Sept. 4, where there was a reported fatal crash in Waldorf. According to the Charles County Sheriff's Office, "the pedestrian appears to be in his 30s." No other details were initially released by investigators. There was a fatal pedestrian crash in a work zone along I-95 in Harford County on Tuesday morning, state police say.
