Family With Baby Displaced By Maryland House Fire, Officials Say
Seven people and a baby were displaced by an early morning fire that is believed to have broken out in a family's garage in Montgomery County. At approximately 5 a.m., first responders were called to a two-story home on Duvall Street near West Deer Park, where they were met by flames showing through the roof of the residence with smoke billowing through the area. A passerby is being credited with alerting patrons at a Maryland diner to a fire that will temporarily keep the eatery closed, officials say.
