Suffocation, Fall Risks Prompt Recall Of Popular Baby Loungers
A baby lounger sold on Amazon has been recalled after federal safety officials warned it poses a risk of suffocation and falls for infants. The recall was issued for about 23,000 URMYWO baby loungers in the "grey feather" style, the Consumer Product Safety Commission announced on Thursday, Sept. 4. Five Infant Deaths Lead To Fisher-Price Recall Of 2M Snuga Instant Swings
More than two million Fisher-Price products are subject to a national recall after there were five deaths reported involving infants. All models of Fisher-Price Snuga Swings - 2.1 million in total - are subject to the recall, and the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) is advising parents that "the swing should never be used for sleep and bedding materials should never be added to it."
