Father Killed In Head-On Maryland Crash: 'The World Is A Darker Place Now' A late-night head-on crash in Annapolis claimed the life of a beloved Crownsville man and left two others injured, according to the Anne Arundel County Police Department. The fatal collision happened shortly before midnight on Thursday, Feb. 20, along Generals Highway near Knollwood Drive. Police say Jonathan David Rober, 47, was driving a 2015 Hyundai Sonata northwest on Generals Highway when the vehicle crossed the center line and slammed head-on into a 1997 Toyota 4Runner.
