A District man will spend decades in prison after pleading guilty mid-trial for an attempted murder that was caught on camera in Maryland, authorities announced. The 22-year-old saw the writing on the wall and admitted his guilt in the middle of a jury trial earlier this year in connection to his role in a shooting in a well-known Silver Spring alleyway following a wild chase in June 2022, according to the Montgomery County State's Attorney's Office. A 20-year-old Baltimore County woman was arrested on Friday morning and charged for her role using spray paint in July to deface federal property at Columbus Circle outside Union Station in Northeast DC, federal authorities announced. District Man Charged With Murder On Federal Lands In Maryland Park, Police Say
A 63-year-old District man is facing murder charges after a person was found stabbed to death in a Prince George's County Park. Ronald Brisbon, also of DC, was arrested and charged with murder on federal lands in connection to the fatal stabbing of Jeffrey Strong, 38, at Greenbelt Park on Monday morning. According to US Park Police, officers were called to the park at around 9 a.m. on Aug. 12, where they found Strong suffering from traumatic injuries after suffering multiple stab wounds.
