Several lanes were temporarily blocked in Montgomery County on Wednesday morning after a multi-vehicle crash sent one through a bus stop in Hillandale. Montgomery County Fire and Rescue personnel were called to the area of New Hampshire Avenue and Chalmers Road at around 7:30 a.m. on Oct. 9, where there was a crash involving two vehicles, officials said. There will be service disruptions for Maryland subway riders this weekend, officials are cautioning. All MTA Metro Subway stations will be closed to allow the organization to test a new Communications Based Train Control system that should be fortuitous for travelers following the closure. A 15-year-old teen has been arrested for his alleged role in the fatal shooting of Jasper Davis in a Baltimore Metro station earlier this month.
