Blood Trail Leads Investigators In Maryland To Man Shot In Head: Police
A late afternoon shooting is under investigation after police in Maryland were called to a crime scene in Baltimore, authorities announced. Shortly after 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 19, patrol officers from the Baltimore Police Department’s Northwest District were called to the 2900 block of Oakley Avenue, where there was a reported shooting. Upon arrival, officers located a blood trail, which they were able to follow to the 2900 block of West Belvedere Avenue, where they found a 26-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his head, police said. Off-Duty Officer Saves Baltimore Shooting Victim
A Baltimore shooting victim has an off duty Baltimore police sergeant to thank for his life. The sergeant was driving in his personal vehicle when he noticed a 31-year-old man slumped over on the 2700 block of West Belvedere Avenue around 1:43 a.m., Tuesday, June 14, according to the Baltimore Police Department. The Sergeant called for additional help and jumped out of his vehicle to administer aid to the victim, who said he had been shot on the 3100 block of Spaulding Avenue by an unidentified suspect before running to where he was found. Baltimore Police Trying To Locate Missing 59-Year-Old Woman
Baltimore Police are seeking the public's help in locating a missing 59-year-old woman, the department shared on Wednesday, March 9. Tia Denison was last seen in the 2400 block of West Belvedere Avenue on Wednesday, police said. She is about 5'5," weighs about 200 pounds and was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt, black pants and slippers.
