The Maryland Fire Marshal is investigating after Leonardtown resident Anthony Cleaver Mason, 64, allegedly set a blaze at the Super Eight Motel in California.  First responders from multiple agencies were called shortly after 8 p.m. on Monday, June 3 to the motel in the 22800 block of Three Notch Road to investigate a reported disturbance after an employee called 911 to report that some guests were arguing. Man Points Gun At People Gathered In St. Mary's County Public Park, Sheriff Says An 18-year-old man has been arrested after police say he pointed a gun at a group of people gathered in a St. Mary's County park over the weekend. Javonte Taevon Fenwick, 18, of Hollywood, was seen pointing a firearm at a group at a pavilion on George B. Cecil Park in Valley Lee on Saturday, June 1, the county sheriff's office said.
