Alcohol May Have Been Contributing Factor For Pedestrian Killed In Maryland Crash, Sheriff Says Alcohol is believed to have been a factor for the pedestrian killed in an overnight Calvert County crash that left an unknown man dead at an area hospital, according to the sheriff's office. Shortly after 8 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 12, deputies were called to the area of northbound Solomons Island Road and Church Street in Prince Frederick, where there was a reported crash involving a pedestrian who was down. In Calvert County, Waldorf resident Jesse Lee Wallace was killed shortly before 10:15 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 5, in Prince Frederick when he crashed into the van in the area of Solomons Island Road and Auto Drive.
