Upper Marlboro resident Olamide Olakanye has been identified by the Prince George's County Police Department as the person who died at an area hospital following an investigation into the crash. Pedestrian Killed After Being Struck In Prince George's County Intersection A man has died after being hit by a vehicle at an intersection in Prince George's County, authorities say. Officers responded to the scene after reports of a pedestrian collision around 8 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 22, at the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Highway and Sheriff Road, according to Prince George's County police. Gerber Mejia Reyes, 47, of Hyattsville was found unresponsive and pronounced dead on the scene.
