The shooting took place in the 5500 block of Harford Road in the late night hours of Sunday, Aug. 14. A medivac pilot proved that on Wednesday, July 6, after they landed a helicopter on Interstate 395 to rescue a police officer.  Park police requested the helicopter to rescue a motorcycle officer who'd crashed on Maine Avenue, WJLA said.
