City resident Jamel McClurkin has been arrested for his alleged role in the early morning Sept. 23 shooting of Davon Jones, 36, in the 400 block of North Curley Street. According to a Baltimore Police Department spokesperson, shortly after 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 23, officers were called to the site of the shooting, where they found Jones and a second man suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers from the Baltimore Police Department were called to the 400 block of North Curley Street shortly after 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 23, where there was a reported shooting that left two men down. Keonteze Montgomery, 22, is accused of shooting and killing Donta Sampson, 45, on the 800 block of West Lexington Street on July 18, 2021, according to Baltimore Police. Montgomery was arrested on the 500 block of North Curley Street, Friday, May 27. He has been charged with first-degree murder.

Shanletta Lewis was rushed to an area hospital with head trauma after being shoved by 31-year-old Demetrick Lewis on the 7000 block of North Curley Street around 2:40 p.m. on Feb. 1, city police said.
