The Montgomery County Department of Police reported at around 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 26 that the Paint Branch High School was being evacuated after the latest threat targeting a building. The week got off to an inauspicious start for Montgomery County Public School as a school bus was involved in a crash on Monday morning, April 24. Five children and one adult were transported with non-life-threatening injuries following a single-vehicle crash involving a bus that was reported by the Montgomery County Department of Police shortly before 10 a.m. in Silver Spring. Community leaders in Montgomery County are speaking out after the latest hate-based act that was reported, this time a racial message that was found at Gaithersburg High School.
