A multi-vehicle crash on MD-295 caused traffic to be backed up for miles in Anne Arundel County on Tuesday ahead of the afternoon commute. Alerts were issued at approximately 2:15 p.m. on April 23 advising that there was a crash tying up traffic along the roadway in the area of MD-175 (Annapolis Road). A 35-year-old man driving a garbage truck was killed when the vehicle crashed, fell off a ramp from I-95 southbound and landed on a set of railroad tracks Thursday afternoon, April 4, authorities said. It happened at the ramp from southbound I-95 to southbound MD 295 in Baltimore City shortly after 2:15 p.m., according to the Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA) Police Collison Reconstruction Unit.
