The search is on for a father who went missing in Mattawoman Creek when their boat sunk, according to Charles County Volunteer Fire and Emergency Medical Service personnel. An alert was issued by the agency shortly after 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon, when officials say that the family's inflatable boat went down in the area.
