A 54-year-old Maryland woman who was carjacked and killed by her own vehicle in Loudoun County on Sunday morning has been identified by the sheriff's office. Silver Spring resident Melody Waldecker was in the 21000 block of Towncenter Plaza when she was carjacked at around 11:40 a.m. on July 29 in Sterling by a suspect who has yet to be named by investigators. Loudoun County police are searching for a man, who was charged with murder, after his recent release from prison, officials said. Stone Colburn, 25, was behind bars for stabbing his brother's girlfriend to death and severely wounding her nine-month-old in 2021, according to the Loudoun County Times. A 33-year-old woman reported missing was found dead in Virginia, authorities said. Kelley Muscara's body was found the morning of Saturday, May 14 by the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office in the area of Kincora Drive in Sterling, they said. Investigators believe there was no foul play involved in Muscara's death and are ruling it as accidental, the office said on Monday.
