Senator Fetterman Speeding Before Maryland Crash, Troopers Said: Report
Maryland state troopers who responded to Sen. John Fetterman's I-70 crash on June 9 said he might have been speeding before the accident, according to body camera footage obtained by the Washington Post. Fetterman and his wife Giselle were in a Chevrolet Tahoe that rear-ended a Chevrolet Impala on Interstate 70 near Interstate 68 in Hagerstown, officials said previously. Sen. John Fetterman Involved In Maryland Car Crash
Senator John Fetterman's office said he and his wife Giselle were in a two-car crash on Sunday morning, June 9. Maryland State Police said it happened in the westbound lanes of Interstate 70 at Interstate 68 in Hancock. Fetterman was driving a Chevrolet Tahoe that struck the rear of a Chevrolet Impala "for unknown reasons," troopers said. Operation To 'Dismantle Transnational Criminal Organizations' Leads To 27 Arrests In Maryland
Dozens of arrests have been made in an effort to dismantle transnational criminal organizations responsible for drug trafficking throughout Maryland, authorities say. As a part of the American Governors' Border Strike Force, authorities, including members of the Maryland State Police Department, made 27 arrests from Monday, Aug. 15 to Sunday, Aug. 21 after identifying major supplier routes throughout Baltimore City, according to the agency. A crash involving seven vehicles and at least one entrapment jammed traffic along Interstate 70 in Howard County Tuesday, March 15, according to developing reports. The Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) first reported the crash on I-70 West at Watersville Road in Mount Airy around 1:43 p.m. on Tuesday, Mar. 15. At least four vehicles, including a tractor trailer, were involved in the crash.
