Police Probe Armed Robbery At Howard County Tobacco Shop
Police are investigating a late-night armed robbery at a tobacco shop in Howard County. It happened at Royal Tobacco & Vape on the 7100 block of Cradlerock Way in Columbia around 8:30 p.m. Monday, March 25, the HCPD said. Three men with their faces partially covered entered the store and wielded handguns at an employee before stealing cash and merchandise and fleeing. No one was injured, police said. : Drivers Killed In 3-Car Howard County Crash
Two people were killed in a three-car crash overnight in Howard County, police said. A 2021 Acura RDX was traveling the wrong direction on Route 100 westbound in the area of Snowden River Parkway when it was struck by a 2010 Subaru Forester and a 2004 Lincoln Town Car around 2:05 a.m. Sunday, March 17 in Ellicott City, county police said. 12 Indicted For Drug Trafficking Operation In Maryland: State’s Attorney
A dozen members of an an alleged Drug Trafficking Organization that was operating out of an Irvington neighborhood have been indicted on a slew of charges following the discovery of mass quantities of fentanyl, heroin, cocaine, and pot, officials said Thursday, March 14. Woman Struck By Man On Jogging Trail In Centennial Park: Police
Police are investigating after they say a 24-year-old woman was struck by a man on a jogging trail in Centennial Park Monday morning, March 11. The woman was grabbed from behind and struck by an unknown man on the trail around 6:30 a.m., Howard County Police said. She escaped to her vehicle with a minor injury and did not require further medical care. The Maryland man who provided a gun to a cohort has will spend decades in prison for his role in a murder-for-hire scheme involving a purported whistleblower. A juvenile was arrested months after he made a bomb threat to a Montgomery County high school, as well as schools in several other states, police said Friday, March 1. A man believed to have killed a woman in Howard County was fatally struck by a vehicle while fleeing the scene, police said. A Route 1 crash involving four vehicles killed one driver and hospitalized two others on Tuesday night, Feb. 6, police said. The crash occurred just north of Country Meadows Lane in Laurel shortly before 9:45 p.m., according to the Howard County Police Department. A 1995 Chevy 1500 was heading northbound when it crossed the median and struck a southbound 2007 Pontiac Solstice. The Pontiac then hit a 2022 Hyundai Accent, while debris from the crash hit a 2022 Toyota Camry. The man driving the Pontiac was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
