Officials ID Source Of Food Poisoning Outbreak That Sickened 46 In Howard County (Updated) New details have been released by the Howard County Health Department as they investigate an incident that found dozens in the same facility suffering from food poisoning symptoms on Monday afternoon. At approximately 3:45 p.m. on Oct. 21, Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services personnel were called to the 7700 block of Chesapeake Bay Court in Jessup, where there were reports of dozens of people who fell ill from reportedly eating the same food. Mayor Ed Gainey tested positive for COVID-19 and is in isolation at home as of Friday morning, according to a release from the city. Gainey is fully vaccinated and boosted, according to the release.
