New details have been released by the Howard County Health Department as they investigate an incident that found dozens in the same facility suffering from food poisoning symptoms on Monday afternoon. At approximately 3:45 p.m. on Oct. 21, Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services personnel were called to the 7700 block of Chesapeake Bay Court in Jessup, where there were reports of dozens of people who fell ill from reportedly eating the same food. No injuries were reported on Monday afternoon when a driver accidentally crashed into Baja Fresh in Montgomery County, officials say. First responders were called to the fast food joint on King Farm Boulevard in Rockville before 3 p.m. on April 22, when a Toyota SUV struck the front of the storefront, causing damage to the recently-renovated eatery. The Mayor of Pittsburgh has announced that he has COVID-19. Mayor Ed Gainey tested positive for COVID-19 and is in isolation at home as of Friday morning, according to a release from the city.
