State Police investigators have identified the driver who was killed in an early morning crash involving a tractor-trailer that left 16 others injured in Maryland. Eliassaint Aussideu, 39, of Salisbury, was pronounced dead at the scene of a chain-reaction crash in Wicomico County when a truck drove into him and the side of a GMC Acadia that was being used to give his disabled Kia a jump start. DC Teen Burglars Charged With Trying To Kill Officer During Maryland Pursuit
Three teen burglars from Washington DC have been charged with trying to kill a Maryland police officer during a pursuit, authorities announced. Officers responding to the 6000 block of Johnson Avenue in Gaithersburg for an attempted burglary in process saw a BMW SUV matching a previous description from a similar incident leaving the area around 1:20 a.m. on Thursday, June 30, county police said. One driver died and a pedestrian was hurt in a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 495 early Sunday, March 13 in Maryland, authorities said. Jarryd Brown, 44, of Silver Spring, had stopped his car and gotten out on the shoulder to help at a crash scene when a black Dodge Crossroad rear-ended a white Chevrolet Cruze in lane one at Central Avenue in Largo around 3 a.m., Maryland State Police said. Authorities in Prince George's County have released surveillance footage of the SUV wanted in a shooting that killed a professional boxer in front of his children and girlfriend on the way to Christmas dinner. Danny Kelly Jr., 30, of Clinton, was behind the wheel of his family's SUV on St. Barnabas Road in Temple Hills, with his girlfriend and three children in the car, Prince George's police said.
