A fugitive from Maryland wanted in Virginia chose the wrong person to tailgate while allegedly driving under the influence and landed himself behind bars, according to the Stafford County Sherif's Office. Berwyn Heights resident Juan Segovia Chicas was arrested over the weekend by deputies following a drunk driver complaint that was called in on Friday night. Two suspects are behind bars after an armed robbery at a Fredericksburg convenience store led to a dramatic police pursuit and a K9-assisted manhunt, authorities say. The incident began shortly after 8 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 1, when Fredericksburg Police responded to a robbery at the Express Food Mart on Princess Anne Street. One person has died in an overnight motorcycle crash in Stafford County, authorities said. Police responded to the incident in the 1300 block of Lafayette Boulevard around 1 a.m. on Thursday, May 12, according to Fredericksburg Police. Officers determined a motorcyclist crashed into another vehicle while they were speeding northbound on Lafayette Boulevard.
