Woman, Dog Escape Safely After Crashing Into Prince George's County Pond
A woman was able to safely escape and rescue her dog after crashing into a Prince George's County pond on Wednesday morning. Shortly after 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 7, members of the Prince George's County Fire and Rescue Department were called to the 3400 block of Enterprise Road in Bowie to investigate a reported crash that resulted in one vehicle submerged in the water. Photos at the scene show the remnants of a damaged fence and vehicle parts strewn around the pond in the area of the crash. No injuries were reported. Police have identified the pedestrian from Anne Arundel who was killed during a late-night crash in Prince George's County earlier this week after being struck by two drivers along a Bowie roadway. At approximately 9:10 p.m. on Monday, June 3, officers were called to the area of Enterprise Road and Chantilly Lane, where there was a reported crash involving a pedestrian, later identified as West River resident Michael Pyles, who was pronounced dead at the scene by first responders. Police ID Driver Killed In 2-Car Crash In Prince George’s County
Police have identified the driver killed in Monday’s crash that left two others injured in Prince George’s County. It happened near the 2700 block of Enterprise Road in Bowie around 1:30 p.m., Daily Voice reported. Antonio Bernal Gonzalez, 52, of Alexandria, Virginia, was pronounced dead at the hospital after his vehicle collided with another vehicle on the northbound side, police said. Police say that a pedestrian was killed crossing a major intersection in Prince George's County on Wednesday afternoon.
