Woman Found Dead Inside College Park Apartment; Police Investigating A woman was found dead inside her College Park apartment on the afternoon of Wednesday, March 23, authorities said.  Police responded for a welfare check in the 9300 block of Cherry Hill Road around 11:20 a.m., Prince George's County Police said on Twitter around 1:33 p.m. Once inside, officers found an adult female unresponsive with visible signs of trauma, police said. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities do not think this was a random incident, police added.  The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call 1-866-411-TIPS.
