Deadly Domestic: Woman Found Dead, Maryland Man Arrested Near Shared Home, Police Say
Baltimore police arrested a man accused of killing a woman inside their shared home on Monday, Dec. 17, authorities announced.
Charles Meyers, 46, was charged with murder and assault after officers found Krystal Praharnpap, 42, dead in their home on the 1000 block of Quantril Way, officials said.
Members of the Baltimore Police Department were called to the home around 7:45 p.m. on Monday night to investigate a reported assault.
After forcing entry, officers found Praharnpap suffering from severe traumatic injuries, and first responders pronounced her dead at the scene.

An arrest has been made in the October 2023 shooting of the former Loyola basketball star found dead inside his West Baltimore home, police announced Friday, March 8.
Dayrel McFarland, 27, was charged with first-degree murder in the death of Jamal Barney, 37, on Thursday, Feb. 8, according to Baltimore Police.
Investigators believe McFarland shot and killed Barney on the 500 block of North Payson Street on Oct. 2, 2023.
