The waters surrounding the Maryland coast has become something of a hotbed for migrating sharks that keep enjoying the warmer weather as summer approaches. “Penny,” a 10-foot-3 juvenile White Shark pinged near the Maryland coast early on Monday, May 15 after he was first tagged late last month as she continues to make her way toward the Chesapeake Bay. Nine-Foot Shark Tracked In Maryland, Virginia Waters
Officials are tracking a nine-foot shark that has been making its way up and down the East Coast and was recently spotted not far off the Maryland and Virginia shores. “Frosty,” a 9-foot-2 juvenile White Shark that weighs in at nearly 400 pounds has been tracked from Georgia up the coast and into the waters surrounding the DMV region.
