Officers responded to reports of a shooting shortly before 11 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 12, where they found the victim suffering from gunshot wounds in the 400 block of North Robinson Street, according to Baltimore police. The victim was rushed to the Johns Hopkins Hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. Homicide detectives were called and assumed control over the investigation. Isaiah Jewel was arrested on Friday, Oct. 7 after detectives identified him as a suspect in the shooting of the 33-year-old man in the 200 block of Kenwood Avenue the afternoon of Thursday, July 7, according to Baltimore police. Jewel allegedly shot the man multiple times before the victim was located by authorities and rushed to a hospital for emergency surgery. Jewel has been charged with attempted first-degree murder.
