Serial Burglar Charged With 33 Counts Of Burglary After String Of Robberies In Maryland

A serial burglar from Baltimore who targeted the Columbia area late this spring has been arrested, authorities say.

Dawon Martice Davis, 20, is allegedly connected to seven commercial burglaries that took place from May 12 to June 17, 2022, according to Howard County Police.

Davis reportedly entered the businesses in the overnight hours, stealing various items.

The businesses he targeted are listed below:

  • Howard County International Market (8700 block of Cloudleap Court);
  • Mobil (6200 block of Columbia Crossing);
  • Shell (5600 block of Waterloo Road).

Davis allegedly burglarized the Howard County International Market and the Mobil three times each. He allegedly burglarized the Shell one time.

Davis has been charged with 33 total counts of burglary, theft, and destruction of property.
