Reward Offered After Young Teen Shot In Howard County

Howard County police are offering a $2,500 reward in connection to the shooting of a teenage boy earlier this month, authorities announced.

Officers were called to a parking lot in the 10400 block of Hickory Ridge Road around 1:55 a.m., Thursday, April 6 after receiving reports of a shooting.

Once on the scene, police located a 15-year-old boy suffering from gunshot wounds.

The teen was stabilized and transported to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center and is considered stable.

Police do not believe the shooting was random and are asking anyone with information to contact police at 410-313-STOP.
