Howard County Police were called to the home of James Sents Jr. 64, in the 6000 block of Old Washington Road around 10:30 a.m., Friday, March 3 after reports of a home invasion.

When police arrived, they found Dennis Lee Graham, 38, inside of the home, and smoke coming from a bedroom.

Police searched the home, found Sents' body, and arrested Graham, a Baltimore resident, at the scene.

Investigators determined that Graham broke into the home and assaulted Sents before setting a fire in the bedroom.

Police are still investigating any possible motives and whether or not Sents and Graham knew each other.
