Honda is recalling nearly two million vehicles due to steering issues that could potentially lead to crashes. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) reported that 1,693,199 vehicles are subject to a nationwide recall due to a manufacturing issue that could make it more difficult to steer the vehicles. Pedestrian Killed Returning U-Haul After Montgomery County Move Remembered By Loved Ones
A community is reeling after a beloved 53-year-old man was killed by a motorist after dropping off a U-Haul following a recent move into Montgomery County. Dominique Mwepu was identified this week as the pedestrian who was struck and killed on Monday night by the driver of a Honda near the intersection of Frederick Road and High Point Drive. A 30-year-old Montgomery County man was killed after being ejected from his bike when he struck a metal light support pole in White Oak, police say. Silver Spring resident Christian Ronaldo Guillen has been identified by investigators as the person who was killed on Saturday afternoon while riding through the area. A 40-year-old wrong-way driver was killed in a head-on crash in Anne Arundel County late on Thursday night, police say. Glen Burnie resident Christopher Gianfrancesco has been identified by investigators as the person killed in a three-vehicle crash involving two other drivers at around 10 p.m. on June 27. For the third time in a week, a motorcyclist was killed in a Maryland crash. Beltsville resident Yuan Long Yuin, 43, has been identified as the Montgomery County Department of Police as the rider who was killed during a crash in Silver Spring on Wednesday morning.
