Gunfire Hits ABC Affiliate In California Where Crowd Protested Jimmy Kimmel Suspension Shots were fired into the studios of an ABC affiliate in California, hours after a crowd gathered outside to protest ABC’s suspension of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”  The incident happened Friday afternoon, Sept. 19 in Sacramento at KXTV ABC10, which is a member of the Tegna Inc. broadcast, digital media and marketing company. Investigators said at least three rounds were fired into the lobby, where at least one person was present at the time. Officer-Involved Shooting Lands One On Administrative Leave In Prince George's County: Police A member of the Bowie Police Department has been placed on administrative leave after discharging a weapon that struck a vehicle, officials say. At approximately 8 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 12, an officer pulled over to assist with what was believed to be a stranded motorist in the northbound Collington Road near US-50.  While approaching the vehicle, police say that the officer discharged their firearm, though it remains unclear later in the afternoon what caused the gun to go off.
