Lee Vogler, 38, was critically injured on Tuesday, July 30, when a man entered the offices of Showcase Magazine in Danville—where Vogler works as Director of Marketing—and allegedly carried out the unthinkable, police said.

A Danville City Councilman was doused in a flammable liquid and set on fire inside his workplace Wednesday morning, according to police in Virginia.
Shotsie Michael Buck Hayes, 29, is accused of carrying out the attack on Lee Vogler, 38, which left Vogler hospitalized and Hayes facing attempted murder and other charges, according to the Danville Police Department.
