Police have identified the 20-year-old passenger killed in a crash early on Monday morning in Prince George's County. At around 3:30 a.m. on Oct. 7, officers were called to the 1100 block of Bryans Point Road to investigate a reported crash that led to the death of Capitol Heights resident Cadence Cox. Police say that the driver - who suffered non-life-threatening injuries - was heading west on Bryans Point Road when they lost control and smashed into a tree. An off-duty Prince George's County Police officer has been suspended without pay after being arrested last week, authorities announced on Monday morning. Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Police Department charged Police Officer Sierra Alston with unauthorized use of a vehicle and related offenses, police say. A 67-year-old man is facing nearly two decades in prison after admitting to rape and sexual assault for a pair of attacks dating back to 1981 in Montgomery County, authorities announced on Friday.
