Pedestrian Struck By Metro Train At Maryland Station (Developing) Emergency crews rushed to a chaotic scene at West Hyattsville Metro Station after a pedestrian was struck by a train, causing major delays on the system, according to Prince George’s County Fire/EMS. The incident happened around 3:51 p.m. on Tuesday, March 12, at the station near Hamilton Street, officials said. Metro traffic was halted in both directions as firefighters worked to rescue the victim from under the train.
