A Maryland man pulled a gun in a road rage blow-up—then got caught with cocaine and a stash of firearms at his job and home, state police say. Travis Dontray Thomas, 26, of Dundalk, was arrested on Thursday, June 5, after troopers say he flashed a gun at another driver during a traffic fight on I-695 near I-95 in Baltimore County. : I-95 Gunman In Custody After Prince George's Shooting, Police Say
A Virginia man opened fire on another car during a Memorial Day road-rage clash on I-95 in Maryland, state police said. Fredy Gonzalez-Esquivel, 22, of Leesburg, was arrested by early Tuesday morning, May 27, according to the Maryland State Police. Troopers from the Maryland State Police College Park Barrack responded to a stretch of the interstate around 6:30 p.m. on May 26 after receiving reports of shots fired during an alleged road rage incident. Seven people were arrested over the course of six hours as Maryland State Police broke up nearly a dozen "unlawful exhibition driving events" overnight, officials say. Troopers were busy on Saturday night and Sunday morning in Baltimore, Prince George's and Anne Arundel counties, responding to several locations in the region where up to 200 people gathered in parking lots and attempted to shut down certain intersections.
