Tanker Hauling 2,600 Gallons Of Fuel Overturns In Maryland, Spills Into Road And Stream More than 2,600 gallons of fuel were at risk after a tanker truck overturned in Emmitsburg on Thursday morning, triggering a multi-agency hazmat response, fire officials said. Firefighters from Frederick County Fire & Rescue were called to the crash at North Seton Avenue and Provincial Parkway at around 7:45 a.m. on April 11. When they arrived, they found a tanker on its side with all occupants out of the vehicle. The truck was carrying about 2,600 gallons of fuel at the time of the rollover.
