Two people were killed in a crash early on Wednesday morning on I-95 in Northern Virginia, state police confirmed. Troopers were called shortly after 1 a.m. on Nov. 5 to a stretch of the southbound lanes of the interstate near the 126-mile marker in Spotsylvania, officials said. A Fairfax Connector bus driver had to be rescued after crashing and getting trapped inside the mangled front end of the bus during rush hour Tuesday morning, officials said. It happened just before 6:00 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of Route 267, right before the Wiehle Avenue exit, when 9-1-1 callers reported the bus had smashed into a guardrail and the driver looked unresponsive, according to Fairfax County Fire and Rescue.
