A DC man already serving time for a drive-by shooting that injured a 14-year-old boy heading to a WWE show with his father has been sentenced to more prison time for smuggling contraband inside while he was awaiting trial.
Stefon Freshley, 29, was sentenced Thursday, Sept. 25, to an additional 36 months in prison for conspiring to sneak dangerous items — including fentanyl, cell phones, and a knife — into the District’s Central Detention Facility, according to the US Attorney’s Office.

Ricky Hatton, the fan-favorite boxing champion and International Boxing Hall of Famer, has died at 46.
Authorities in Greater Manchester, England said that Hatton’s body was found at his home on Sunday, Sept. 14, and that they are not treating the death as suspicious.
