A parolee who was convicted of the murder of Gayle Cooke in a 2000 shooting during a domestic dispute is heading back to prison, according to the Charles County State's Attorney's Office. A 20-year-old man will spend more than a decade in prison following a midday shooting in Maryland in one of Montgomery County's busiest roads, authorities announced on Wednesday. Sorie Mansaray, who has no known address, was sentenced on July 17 to 30 years in prison with all but 12 years suspended following a July 2022 shooting that was caught on camera.
