A notorious flesh-eating parasite has been detected in a US patient for the first time in decades, health officials say. Southwest Airlines is planning to begin flights to a popular Caribbean destination as the carrier expands its network for the first time in about five years. Southwest is looking to fly to St. Thomas in the US Virgin Islands for the first time, the airline said in a news release on Monday, July 14. Service to Cyril E. Authorities in Belize have determined the cause of death for three Massachusetts women who were found dead inside a luxury hotel earlier this month.
