A Maryland man’s run of fake checks came to a crashing halt when Virginia police used license plate readers to track him down at a gas station, according to investigators. Zelle Shuts Down App For Payments: Here's How To Keep Receiving, Sending Money
Zelle has officially ended payments through its standalone app. A notice appeared in the Zelle app on Wednesday, April 2, telling users that they could no longer use the app to send or receive money. Those who still have the app can still log in to view their transaction history, but transfers are no longer supported. Maryland Bank Left Temporarily Inoperative After Fire In Secured ATM Room
A Maryland bank was temporarily left inoperative on Thursday morning when a fire broke out in a secured room, leading to a tricky battle for first responders. In Wicomico County, crews from the Salisbury Fire Department were called to PNC Bank at around 5:15 a.m. on Oct. 10 after being alerted by a security alarm and customer about the fire, which started in a secured ATM room that contained IT equipment.
